South West Rocks is known as a fisherman’s paradise. Fishing options are many and varied. From quiet creeks, to ocean fishing charters, The Rocks has it all. You can choose from sandy river banks, the tidal run of Back Creek, the breakwall at the Macleay River entrance, the various beaches, both ocean and bay, the coastal rocks (though not recommended) or grab a boat and head up the Macleay River or Clybucca Creek. Or for the more adventurous, head “outside” and chase those marlin. And you know fishing must be good when a town has a commercial fishing fleet.
